The Anglo-Argentine Society Gran Asado Argentino 2026

Experience the vibrant flavours of Argentina at our annual Gran Asado Argentino, featuring live music, family fun and a fundraising raffle.

We are delighted to be back at the London Wasps Football Club (nearest tube Ealing Common) for our Gran Asado Argentino 2026. The venue has a large open space where our friends from Chango Empanadas, alongside our volunteers, will be preparing the lunch. There will be a large marquee with tables and chairs available on a first come first served basis. There is plenty of room in the grounds, you are welcome to bring your own picnic equipment/gazebos. Guests are warmly encouraged to come dressed in traditional gaucho attire to help bring the spirit of the Asado to life.

The Wasps FC bar will be open throughout the day, serving soft drinks, beer, spirits and hot drinks.

Hot water will also be available to refill your mate flasks.

Ticket Information:

Your ticket includes the entry fee, meats, chorizo sausage and bread (choripan), black pudding (morcilla), lamb (cordero), chimichurri by Bacanas, cherry tomatoes for garnish and entertainment. Vegetarian/vegan option is available upon request prior to the event. We are unable to accommodate vegetarian/vegan requests on the day.

You will need to bring your own plates, cutlery, salads and desserts. Soft and alcoholic drinks are available to purchase on the day, or you can bring your own. Only plastic glasses are allowed on the premises. No glass will be allowed on the premises, for the safety of the rugby players and school children that use the grounds.

Anglo-Argentine Members

  • Adult Ticket (13 years and Up): £55 (from 20 April £65) + booking fees.
  • Children (Ages 6 -12): £30 (from 20 April £35) + booking fees.
  • Children (Under 6): FREE

Non-Members / General Tickets

  • Adult Ticket (13 years and Up): £65 (from 20 April £75) + booking fees.
  • Children (Ages 6 -12): £35 (from 20 April £40) + booking fees.
  • Children (Under 6): FREE

Early bird rates are available for a limited time, so book your tickets early to enjoy discounted prices. Discounts apply for Anglo-Argentine Society members. If you are not yet a member, join up today to take advantage and other benefits our society offers. Annual membership to the AAS starts from £15.

Children under 6 years old can attend for free, and special rates available for children aged 6 to 12.

Fundraising Raffle:

Our annual fundraising raffle will also take place at the Gran Asado. Profits raised from the raffle and Gran Asado will go towards our work and supported charities, Red Communidades Rurales and Haciendo Camino. Additional Information:

  • This event is suitable for all ages.
  • Vegetarian and vegan options will be available, though you must let us know when booking.
  • Limited tickets are available, so book early to secure your spot!
  • Unfortunately NO DOGS are allowed.
  • Car parking is available at the venue for up to 80 cars (size dependent). Parking is allocated on a first come first served basis.
  • The event will not be cancelled for bad weather!
  • Please note tickets will not be sold at the door.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

Refunds (minus the eventbrite booking fee) are available up to 7 days before the event starts. After this date no refunds can be made.
